Renowned couple Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha are over the moon as they announced their pregnancy today (August 25). The couple shared the happy news through a joint social media post, expressing their excitement as they prepare to welcome a new chapter in their lives. The duo tied the knot of love and togetherness on September 24, 2023.

Taking to Instagram, the couple revealed that they are all set to embrace parenthood. During their recent appearance on The Indian Kapil Show, host Kapil Sharma asked them about their plans to start a family. With a smile, Raghav responded that some happy news would be shared soon. While it wasn’t an official confirmation at the time, the exchange left fans buzzing with speculation. Raghav said with a grin, “We will give you the good news soon!”

Soon after they shared the news, fans and friends from the industry, including Sonam Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Huma Qureshi and others congratulated the couple.

For the unversed, Parineeti and Raghav got married on September 24, 2023, in a grand wedding that began in Delhi. The celebrations kicked off with a friendly cricket match, followed by a soulful Sufi night and a traditional Ardaas ceremony. The festivities then moved to Udaipur, where they celebrated their Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies before exchanging vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close friends and family.

Earlier in 2024, the couple had already sparked pregnancy rumours when Parineeti was spotted in a loose white shirt and shorts during a casual outing. Her relaxed outfit led many online to speculate that she might be expecting. Although fans flooded social media with questions, the couple did not confirm anything at the time.

Parineeti and Raghav’s love story had a sweet and serendipitous start. During an interview, Raghav described their first meeting as magical. Parineeti had earlier shared that they met at the ICC Young Leaders Forum in London, where both were being honoured for their contributions in their respective fields. Over a casual breakfast with organisers and her manager, she had a gut feeling that Raghav was "the one," despite not knowing much about his background or even his age.
