Parimala And Co OTT release date confirmed: Where and when to watch the Tamil dark comedy thriller starring Jayaram and Urvashi

After its theatrical release in June, Parimala And Co is now heading to the digital platform. Starring Jayaram and Urvashi in the lead roles, the Tamil black comedy thriller will soon be available for streaming, giving audiences another chance to catch the family mystery from home. Directed by Pandiraaj, the film mixes comedy, suspense and family drama around a murder investigation that turns an ordinary household upside down.

Parimala And Co OTT release date and platform

The makers have confirmed that Parimala And Co will premiere on ZEE5 on July 10, 2026. The streaming platform announced the release through its official social media handles.

Sharing the update, the platform wrote, "The perfect family entertainer with twists and spectacle is on its way... #ParimalaAndCo Premieres on July 10th on Tamil ZEE5." In another announcement, the streamer described it as, "The Ultimate Family Entertainer is coming to ZEE5!"


The film will arrive on the platform around a month after its theatrical release on June 5.

What is Parimala And Co about?

The story follows Parimala, a middle-class man living in Chennai with his wife Sudhandhiram and their daughters, Parasakthi and Madhumitha. Their peaceful family life changes after a local troublemaker, who had been harassing the younger daughter, is found dead under mysterious circumstances.

As the police begin investigating the case, suspicion slowly spreads within the family itself. None of the family members knows who is responsible for the death, but each starts wondering whether someone else under the same roof could be hiding the truth. The investigation, led by Inspector Emperuman, unfolds through a mix of dark humour, mystery and family drama. Some viewers have also compared its family-centred mystery setup to Drishyam, but with a comedic twist.

Cast, crew and box office performance

Jayaram and Urvashi reunite in the film after their 2002 outing Panchathanthiram. The cast also includes Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Mysskin, Yogi Babu, Sandy, Santosh Sobhan, Sendrayan, Harshad, Singampuli and Bagavathi Perumal in important roles.

Written and directed by Pandiraaj, the film features music by FoxN, cinematography by George C. Williams and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav.
