Pamela Anderson, Rick Salomon's divorce finalized

LOS ANGELES: Former "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson and her estranged husband Rick Salomon have finalised their divorce.

The pair, both 47, issued a joint statement apologizing for their messy divorce proceedings, including the one when Rick called Pamela "a serial baby killer", reported People magazine.

"Public divorces can be harsh and cruel. We apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused," the former couple said.

"We have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on. There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well."

Pamela and Rick were first married in 2007 and their marriage was annulled just two months later. They later reunited and got married again in January 2014 but Pamela filed for divorce six months later.
