Pakistani X user gets trolled after he calls Zara Dar’s decision to leave PhD for adult content creation ‘proudest moment for South Asia

YouTuber Zara Dar became an Internet sensation by accident when an X user re-shard her video, in which she explained why she decided to leave her PhD progamme to become a full-time adult content creator. While Dar tasted overnight stardom, she has become the subject of much memes and trolling.

Sensei Kraken Zero, the X user who shared the post showcasing Dar announcing that she has left academia to become an OnlyFans model full-time, recently dropped a hilarious screenshot that showed a Pakistani user named Farid Khan praising Dar for her career transition.

“Is this for real?” they wrote. The post went viral on X, gaining more than 400K views.

In a separate post, Dar revealed that she is not a Pakistani. She stated that she has Persian, Middle Eastern, and Indian roots. "With all due respect, I am not Pakistani. I believe some people are confusing me with a beautiful influencer named “Zara Dar” @ZaraNaeemDar . I am American, born and raised, with a mixed background: American, Persian, Southern European, Middle Eastern, and Indian," she wrote on X.
