Pakistan influencer Mathira Khan reacts after her private video leak: 'Please have shame'

Pakistani Instagram star Mathira Khan became the latest influencer to be targeted for a breach of privacy. Some videos allegedly featuring her in compromising positions have spread like wildfire across the Internet. The actress-influencer wasted no time clarifying the matter once and for all. She claimed that haters were tarnishing her name and they have misused pictures from a photoshoot.

Taking to X, she wrote, “People are misusing my name and my photoshoot pictures and adding fake stuff in; please have shame! Keep me out of this trashy nonsense.”



Earlier this week, a private video allegedly depicting Pakistani TikTok star Imsha Rehman in an intimate setting went viral on social media. The footage ignited a flood of criticism, with many accusing Rehman of intentionally leaking the clip to gain attention. Struggling to cope with the backlash, she described the online negativity as "overwhelming" and subsequently deactivated her social media accounts.

In a similar incident, another alleged private video featuring Pakistani influencer Minahil Malik and her boyfriend recently surfaced online. The controversy prompted Malik to deactivate her accounts as well. Denying the video's authenticity, she called it "fabricated" and filed a formal complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

On November 15, yet another explicit video purportedly involving Indonesian e-sports star Lydia Onic was leaked online. However, it remains unconfirmed whether the individual in the clip is actually the content creator.

Mathira, also known as Mathira Mohammad, is a well-known Pakistani influencer, actress, and dancer. With over two million followers on Instagram and 59,000 on X (formerly Twitter), she has a significant online presence. According to a report by the India Times, Mathira was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. Following political unrest in Zimbabwe, she relocated to Pakistan, the country of her origins. In 2012, she married singer Farran J. Mirza, but the couple divorced in 2018.
