Pak media attacks Alia Bhatt's music video debut, 'Prada'; claims song plagiarised
A Pakistani publication claimed that song was copied from a '90s hit 'Goray rung ka zamana'.

The Doorbeen's latest song 'Prada' may have won hearts in the country, but it is creating waves of a different kind across the border. The pop-hit, that features Alia Bhatt in the video, is facing charges of plagiarism by Pakistani media.
According to tribune.com.pk, the song's melody is the same as a '90s song, 'Goray rung ka zamana', by the Pakistani band, Vital Signs. The song, written by Shoaib Mansoor, was part of the album, 'Vital Signs Volume 1'.
Several users took to social media to ask The Doorbeen to give credit to the original song.
"Thanks for copying vital signs. At the very least you could have given credit!," a user tweeted.
Pakistani actress also took to her social media handle to slam the composers, writing, "I find this strange. On the one hand Bollywood vilifies Pakistan at every opportunity they get. On the other, they continue to steal our songs without so much as an acknowledgment. “Copyright violation” and “royalty payments” obviously mean nothing."
