‘Our brightest Diwali yet’: Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal share first photo of son Vihaan

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have made fans super happy. The couple, who welcomed their son Vihaan last year on November 7, have finally revealed the face of their little munchkin. Katrina shared a joyous family portrait featuring Vicky and her little one on Instagram on the occasion of Diwali today, November 8. Vihaan celebrated his first birthday yesterday.

The picture captured Katrina and Vicky sitting on the floor with little Vihaan in the middle. The actress exuded festive vibes in a bright yellow traditional suit, adorned with golden embroidery across the neckline and cuff sleeves. She paired her outfit with a matching dupatta and golden danglers.

Vicky Kaushal, on the other hand, complemented his wife in a cream-hued kurta-pyjama set, decorated with intricate designs on the front. Meanwhile, Vihaan was dressed in an all-white tunic and a pair of matching pants, coupled with a yellow jacket that had exquisite patterns all over it.


Vihaan’s cute smile stole the show in the snap. He posed for the lens, extending both his hands as the toddler’s parents looked at him affectionately. The side note read, ‘Our brightest Diwali yet. Wishing everyone love, light and happiness. - Vicky, Katrina & Vihaan’.

Katrina Kaif’s pregnancy and baby name announcement

Katrina Kaif announced her pregnancy back in September 2025. In a joint Instagram post, she shared a Polaroid-style image of Vicky Kaushal caressing his wife’s baby bump. ‘On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude,’ read the caption. Two months later, the pair revealed that they have become proud parents to a baby boy.

In January 2026, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal announced that they had named their son Vihaan. ‘Our Ray of Light. Vihaan Kaushal. Prayers are answered. Life is beautiful. Our world is changed in an instant. Gratitude beyond words,’ they captioned the post.

Workwise, Katrina Kaif was last seen in director Sriram Raghavan’s crime thriller Merry Christmas. The film, also starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, premiered on Netflix in 2024.

Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The movie is slated to hit the big screens on January 21, 2027.
