The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has unveiled the shortlists in 10 categories for the 97th Academy Awards. These include Documentary Feature Film, Documentary Short Film, International Feature Film, Makeup and Hairstyling, Music (Original Score), Music (Original Song), Animated Short Film, Live Action Short Film, Sound, and Visual Effects. Among these, a British-Indian filmmaker Sandhya Suri's Santosh featuring Indian actors Shahana Goswami and Sunita Rajwar, and Guneet Monga's Anuja has made it to the list.
