Orry reveals reason behind rumours of feud with Sara Ali Khan: ‘Pretending to be friends with Sara means…’
Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan and social media personality Orry have unfollowed each other on Instagram. This digital separation follows a controversial video by Orry mentioning Sara, her mother Amrita Singh, and Palak Tiwari. Orry has since broke...

For weeks, social media users have been closely tracking the apparent rift between the Bollywood actor and her former confidant. Matters took a sharper turn recently when Orry uploaded a short video using the phrase three worst names, where he mentioned Sara, Amrita, and Palak. Many viewers immediately assumed the names were a pointed reference to Sara Ali Khan, her mother and veteran actor Amrita Singh, and actor Palak Tiwari. The video quickly went viral, triggering criticism and backlash from internet users. Soon after the negative reactions intensified, the clip was removed. Not long after this episode, both Sara and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan chose to stop following Orry on Instagram, further fueling chatter around their fractured relationship.
Breaking his silence, Orry addressed the situation in a conversation with Hindustan Times. He explained that he had stopped following Sara some time ago and had not been connected with Ibrahim on social media for several years. He suggested that continuing to act friendly toward Sara would mean overlooking emotional distress he associates with her mother, something he no longer felt capable of doing. However, when pressed to elaborate on his remarks regarding Amrita Singh, he refrained from offering any additional details.
Orry also defended a comment that had circulated widely online about Sara Ali Khan’s professional journey. He downplayed the remark, describing it as a harmless joke aimed at her career. According to him, public criticism and humor directed at Sara’s films are common, and he believed she was unlikely to be deeply affected. He added that just as her work often becomes meme material, he himself is frequently mocked online, suggesting the issue was being blown out of proportion.
When asked whether reconciliation was possible, Orry maintained a straightforward stance, indicating that an apology from Amrita Singh could potentially open the door to forgiveness in the future.
Reports further claim that tensions between Orry and Sara began surfacing around her birthday in August last year. Allegedly, Orry shared unflattering photographs of her as part of a birthday post, which did not sit well with the actor. Sources within the industry also indicate that Ibrahim Ali Khan, once close to Orry, has since distanced himself, marking the end of another friendship affected by the fallout.
