The ranch-style property — called Seamair Farm — is designed by renowned California architect Cliff May, remembered for popularising the style in the 1930s. The sprawling 4,750-square-foot single-level house has four-bedrooms with four fireplaces and is set up with full equestrian facilities. The house is built for outdoor living, with a series of open and covered patios and decks. There's also a separate manager's cottage and horse trainer's house on the property.
A koi pond provides a meditative retreat, although the property is already plenty quiet. There's also an avocado orchard, a pool, and a large, flat lawn. In fact, the property is one of the largest estates in Montecito and is bordered by a nature preserve, a golf club, and other private estates.
There are even two private wells on the estate. With California in drought and water a sought-after commodity, personal wells are no small perk.
