As 2019 came to an end, speculations about OPPO dropping a new smartphone were rife. The rumour mills were working overtime and soon, the speculations were confirmed when the Chinese smartphone maker released a 30-second video on its YouTube channel on December 29, 2019, teasing the new OPPO F15.
The video essentially shows a group of young millennials, dressed in vibrant clothes, showcasing their respective talents as #FlauntItYourWay appears on the screen.
Soon, OPPO announced from its social media handles that the phone will be launched on January 16. The tech giant updated its cover picture on Twitter which showed actor Kartik Aaryan posing with the phone.
The new OPPO F15 is packing high-end features. While there has been no official word on the specifications of F15, the cover picture revealed three key specs of the upcoming gadget: 48 MP Quadcam, VOOC flash charge 3.0 and an in-display fingerprint 3.0.
If the reports on tech websites are to believed, VOOC flash charge 3.0 offers 2 hours of talktime with 5 minutes of charge. In addition to clicking high-quality images with 48 MP Quadcam, phone’s in-display fingerprint 3.0 sensor will allow users to unlock the device in 0.32 s and will also provide high security.

Experts believe that the phone will have a sleek design with just 7.9 mm thickness 172 g weight. Another feature that has been confirmed by the Chinese smartphone maker is that F15 will come with an 8 GB RAM.
While there is no official word on the price of OPPO F15, it is expected to go on sale on Amazon on January 16.
