The Chinese tech giant is not keeping the Oppo F9 Pro a secret. They have gone all out in giving people what the smartphone is all about.

As the company gets ready to unveil its new offering in Mumbai today, here's a round-up of everything we know so far.

The striking feature of the phone is the flash charge. Charging the phone for 5 minutes will last your device for 2 hours. This means you should see charging speeds similar to OnePlus' Dash charger. The phone will house a 3,500mAh battery.

The Oppo F9 Pro will come with a display cutout. What will be exciting is Oppo's trademark VOOC fast charge support. Here's what you can expect from the device:

- Waterdrop screen, which basically means that the display will be edge-to-edge with a notch that is shaped as a water droplet. The notch is quite unique and unlike what is seen on most Android phones.

- The device is likely to come with a 90.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

- The Oppo F9 is the first smartphone to get the latest Gorilla Glass 6 protection, which can survive up to 15 drops from a height of up to 1 meter.

- The smartphone will be available in three colours - Starry Purple, Sunrise Red and Twilight Blue.

- For AI-fans, there might be an AI battery management feature.

- The primary camera comes with a f/1.9 aperture while the secondary camera will be used for depth sensing.
