One Direction stars to pursue solo projects?

LOS ANGELES: Members of boy band One Direction are reportedly contemplating to pursue a solo career while also staying together.

The "What Makes You Beautiful" hit-makers are choosing to have the best of both worlds by staying together and pursuing their own projects, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"The boys know that by sticking together they can still pursue everything they want to do as a foursome, as well as individually," a friend of the members said.

In March, singer Zayn Malik had left the band to pursue a solo career. The group now comprises Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horran and Louis Tomlinson.

"Harry, Louis, Liam, and Niall are all very loyal to each other and support each other's future together and on solo projects, music or otherwise. They are all incredibly loyal despite the multiple offers they get all the time." the friend added.
