One calendar, two heirs

When jewellery designer MitaaliVora decided to shoot a celebrity calendar, she made sure she got people from various industries to pose for her. Among those featuring in the calendar are young politician AadityaThackeray, son of Shiv Sena chief UddhavThackeray, and Anjali Mody, daughter of lawyer ZiaMody.

In the shoot, Aaditya sports a suit and tie, a far cry from typical Sena garb. One also hears that Thackeray is a fan of Michael Jackson, who famously made a stop at Matoshree during his visit to India in 1996. So the calendar team played MJ at the shoot to put Thackeray at ease. And Anjali, Mitaali says, “has a beautiful face that is very easy to work with. As the camera rolled, we realised how effortless and photogenic she was and even though we got our shot, we kept rolling.”
