On Valentine's Day, Reliance Jio shows some love to Airtel, Idea, Vodafone
At a time when major telecom operators are fighting over tariffs and customer poaching, Reliance Jio decided to forget it all for V-Day. The telecom giant took to Twitter to wish rivals Idea, Airtel, and Vodafone a happy Valentine's Day.

For those wondering, Jio is still waiting to get the love back.

And this is not the first time that Jio has 'initiated' a thread with its rivals. A fortnight ago, it came to superstar Amitabh Bachchan's help after the actor had tweeted a complaint to rival Vodafone. Big B had tweeted saying that he could not send messages from his phone as they showed a failed status, but receiving them was not an issue.

Before Vodafone could respond, Jio promptly spotted the opportunity within 30 minutes and offered to send Bachchan a free Jio SIM card: "Sir, we would be happy to deliver a Jio SIM to you & activate it instantly through our Aadhaar based eKYC home delivery process."

However, Vodafone resolved the issue and the Big B tweeted about that as well.
