On Sara Ali Khan's 27th birthday, fans light up Times Square billboard, do flash mob

Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, who turned 27 on Friday, received a huge surprise from her fans, who lit up billboards in Times Square, New York to celebrate her birthday.

The excited fans also did a flash mob where they danced to Khan's hit songs. The actress is currently vacationing in New York. As her fans arranged a massive gesture to wish Khan on her 27th birthday, the actress couldn't hold back her tears and got emotional.



A group of fans lit up the LED screen with Khan's pictures which also included photographs of her family and friends along with the birthday girl herself.

Earlier today, the actress also penned a heartfelt letter to herself as she turned 27, which she shared with her fans on Instagram. The special note highlighted the importance of self-love.

"Happy birthday, Sara. Always love yourself and when you forget workout for your body, mind and soul," Khan wrote alongside a picture of her taken inside a gym.

Before her peaceful time in New York, the actress had visited her alma mater, Columbia University. The actress has been sharing pictures and videos from her trips.

"And the voices in the waves are always whispering to Florence, in their ceaseless murmuring, of love – of love, eternal and illimitable, not bounded by the confines of this world, or by the end of time, but ranging still, beyond the sea, beyond the sky, to the invisible country far away!" the actress wrote in the caption of one of her posts.


While on the film front, the actress was spotted shooting for 'Gaslight' with Vikrant Massey and has recently finished shooting for an untitled project next to Vicky Kaushal.

Khan has wrapped up major portions of two films and is all set to start with the third film, which is yet to be announced.
