On Hrithik Roshan's birthday, a gift for his fans. First look, release date of 'Vikram Vedha' revealed

2022 is the year that will mark an action-packed return of Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, who has an interesting movies lined-up for fans. On the actor's birthday today, the makers of his upcoming crime thriller 'Vikram Vedha' unveiled Roshan's look from the film as a birthday gift.

The actor turned 48 today. Roshan-starrer 'Vikram Vedha' is the remake of a Tamil hit film of the same name, which starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupath in lead roles.

The markers also revealed the theatrical release date of the neo-noir action film, which will hit the big screen on September 30. What a birthday gift, especially for the star's fans.


The much anticipated film 'Vikram Vedha', features the actor as Vedha, a gangster.

The official handle of production house T-Series took to Twitter to make the announcement. "Here's wishing Hrithik Roshan a very happy birthday! Delighted to present the first look of Vedha in #VikramVedha. Hitting the cinemas worldwide on 30th September 2022," the tweet said.


The actor's upcoming action drama is based on the Indian folktale Vikram aur Betaal. The film revolves around a tough police officer named Vikram, played by Saif Ali Khan, who sets out to track down and kill an equally tough gangster, played by Roshan. The film also stars Radhika Apte who plays a pivotal role.

Apart from this, Roshan also has 'Fighter' and 'War 2' lined-up for release this year.

The film is directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, who also helmed the 2017 original. This will mark their Hindi debut in both direction and writing.

Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Films and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios Production will present the film, which is produced by S Sashikanth and Bhushan Kumar.
