On EaseMyTrip co-founder's post-pandemic to-do list: A pilot training course, buying a Lamborghini Urus

Up in the air: Once restrictions are eased I would love to sign up for pilot training. Having a private pilot license has been a childhood dream of mine. Apart from this, I hope to travel. I love seeing new places. It gives you the chance to discover and learn and to meet new people and adapt to new situations. I would love to go on a solo trip to the Koh Samui island of Thailand. Although I have been to the island before, there is an abundance of reasons to visit again.

Flex appeal: Working out in the gym has been one of my daily routine activities before the pandemic, and I can’t wait to hit the gym once the lockdown ends. Exercising ups my level of energy, happiness and relaxation for the whole day and helps me get a good night’s rest. Apart from keeping me healthy and fit, exercising daily also boosts my confidence. Currently, I’m exercising at home but can’t wait to head back to the gym.


Eating out: I have a long list of restaurants that I would like to visit once the lockdown is lifted. Rodeo: Cantina & Kitchen at Connaught Place, The Garden Restaurant at Lodhi Garden, Big Chill at Khan Market and Mei Kun at the Leela Palace are a of the places that I would love to go back to soon.

Shopping destination: Dubai is definitely my favorite shopping destination as it provides a multitude of brand options. I love suits, shoes, watches, and gadgets, and I feel Dubai has the best stores for each of these items. Some of the brands I can’t wait to check out are Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Armani. Before the lockdown, I was looking to buy a Lamborghini Urus or a similar luxury sports SUV car. I will definitely look at buying it once things get back to normal.

Tech update: Remote work has brought new challenges for all of us, but the good news is that we have come up with efficient solutions. We bought a huge number of laptops last year for our employees to make WFH easier. I have bought an Asus Rog Strix Scar G33Q laptop embedded with the latest processor and graphics card. I bought this to stay productive and eliminate any sort of work slowdown, and this has ensured a smooth WFH process for me.

A new tune: These days, I am trying new games and listening to music. It elevates my mood and keeps me refreshed all day. Gaming and music is not a new hobby, but I was not able to enjoy it between my work. But now, as we are all working from home, I’m able to get some time for myself and enjoy doing these activities again. This not only reduces stress but also stimulates memories.
