Birla tries to catch up on sleep during flights.
Ananya Birla is a CEO and a songstress, so it’s but natural that she travels a lot. From meetings to rehearsals and recordings, the young Birla is always on the move. And because of her busy schedule she makes sure that there’s one thing she always does on flight: try to catch up on her much needed sleep.

“Most of the time, I catch a flight after a full work day to make the best of my time as I usually go into studio as I land,” she tells ET Panache. That means shut eye is saved for the aircraft.

Birla also loves listening to music to unwind, at her own space at home or while commuting. When asked what’s currently on her playlist, her favourites are as diverse as her own interests. She says, “Currently I am listening to Billie Eilish ('Bury a Friend'), Post Malone ('Goodbye'), Khalid ('Better'), Taylor Swift ('Lover') and James Arthur ('You Deserve Better').”

Apart from unwinding with music, Birla also likes to catch up on a few shows when she has the time. “Presently, I am watching 'Mind Of a Serial Killer' with Piers Morgan.” But there’s another show she really recommends: 'The Great Hack'. She says, “I’ve just seen it and highly recommend watching it. It’s a documentary on minimalism.”

Sounds like we know what Birla’s 2020 resolution might be!
