Old-school style diaries: Berkeley Group's Jonathan Duncan suits up like a British gentleman
The international director of Berkeley Group likes to keep it subtle.

My style
Old school British gentleman.
Must haves
A nice watch (Hublot and IWC are my favourites), Tom Ford suits and of course, nice shoes. I’m a little picky when it comes to shoes as I look for the right style and fit, and not the brand name. I am a big fan of comfy clothes. When I’m not at work, I’m usually in Under Armour.
Trend talk
I prefer the traditional and preppy style. A bit more American sportswear when I go out in casuals. But one trend I don’t get is gothic. No eyeliner for me. I’m so traditional it’s almost boring.
I think Daniel Craig was dressed very well for the Bond role. I’m a big fan of his style. Model David Gandy dresses really well too. Eddie Redmayne is another favourite — he’s got a very traditional British style. Ryan Reynolds is another suave dresser.
Style advice
One, invest in a good suit, especially for work. Two, invest in good shoes. From a dating perspective, girls look at shoes. Which I refused to believe for a long time until enough people told me and it sunk in. Earlier, I would wear shoes that, to put it nicely, weren’t replaced soon enough.
