Obsession OTT release date for free version confirmed: When and where will the surprise horror blockbuster stream without rental

After making headlines with its theatrical run and later arriving on premium video-on-demand platforms, Obsession is finally getting its subscription streaming release. What is Obsession about?

Obsession follows Bear, a lonely college student played by Michael Johnston, who desperately wants his friend Nikki, played by Inde Navarrette, to fall in love with him.

After discovering a mysterious One Wish Willow tree, Bear makes a wish that Nikki loves only him. The wish comes true, but it also unleashes horrifying supernatural consequences that soon spiral out of control. What starts as a simple desire turns into a terrifying nightmare, pushing the story into dark psychological and supernatural territory.

The film is said to have taken inspiration from a horror-themed episode of an animated series, blending emotional drama with unsettling horror elements.

Besides directing the film, Curry Barker also wrote the screenplay and edited the project. Along with Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette, Megan Lawless also features in an important role.
