Now Reebok has some etiquette advice for Donald Trump, puts out a compliment chart

Reebok on Friday tweeted an educational map showing people when it is appropriate to comment on a person's figure by saying, "You're in such good shape ... beautiful."

There were six situations offered and ? surprise! ? only one of them was deemed appropriate for such a comment.

On Friday, the athletic apparel company took a shot at the U.S. President by crafting a graphic that mocked the "compliments" he delivered to French President Emmanuel Macron's wife last week.

The Massachusetts based sportswear company, which is now best known for its sponsorship of mixed martial arts and hard core fitness training, has offered the US president a cut out and keep etiquette guide.

In a moment captured on Facebook Live during Trump's visit to Paris, he can be seen giving French first lady Brigitte, a once-over before saying, "You know, you're in such great shape ... beautiful."



In response to the cringeworthy interaction, Reebok posted an elaborate subtweet in the form of a handy chart created to help people determine when it's appropriate to utter the words Trump spoke to Macron's wife.

Inevitably some took offence, with many seeing it as just the latest manifestation of Mr Trump's sexism rather than a demonstration of diplomatic courtesy.

The company's unexpected political message sparked quite the reaction online, and many surprised Twitter users began praising the subtweet.
