Such is the story of Gurugram-based woman Anshika Singh, who had the courage of quitting her exhausting corporate job to live in the lush green hills of Dehradun. Anshika has recently shared a video on Instagram where she talked about how the decision has changed her life for the better, helping her find balance and purpose.
In her post, Anshika Singh revealed that she resigned from her job in October 2024 and moved to Dehradun. As per the woman, the job was ‘quietly draining’ her and hence she took the bold step. The shift from the metro city to the hill town helped Anshika lead a slower and gentler life. She now gets to spend more time with her family, enjoy with her friends, attend events, go on trips and do things she actually loves. But the biggest change Anshika felt was that she woke up every morning without feeling heavy or thinking that it was a chore.
