Now 'Baahubali' to be released as an animated series on Amazon
War, betrayal, action and political intrigue, the animated version promises all of this and more.

Nevertheless, there is some good news in store for all Baahubali fans. The magnum opus is all set to be launched as an animated series titled, 'Baahubali: The Lost Legends'. The film’s director SS Rajamouli is at the helm of this in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video.
The series will allow the audience to delve into the hidden stories about the film and charts Baahubali's transformation from a young prince to a legendary hero. War, betrayal, action and political intrigue, the animated version promises all of this and more.
While the movie was themed around the Kalakeya invasion, with Baahubali and Bhallaladeva adjusting to being princes of Mahishmati, this series will feature new, anecdotes about Kattapa, Sivagami and other characters.

Rajamouli, also, expressed his happiness on collaborating with Graphic India and Amazon.
"What we managed to showcase in the film was just the beginning. 'Baahubali' cannot be encompassed into a film and hence animation will allow the audience to experience more about it," he said.
The series has been conceived by Rajamouli, Sharad Devarajan and Arka Mediaworks. The trailer will be available on www.Amazon.in only on October 1 and 2, 2016.
