Not your average exercise regime: Bisleri International's Jayanti Chauhan is hooked to aerial hooping
Bisleri International heiress Jayanti Chauhan’s love for travel and photography are well known. However, she harbours another passion — aerial hooping. “It’s difficult. I wish I had learnt it when I was younger,” says Chauhan about her new-found hobby. “I see these girls doing it on YouTube and they’re so beautiful and graceful but also 10-15 years younger than me,” she says with a laugh.

So what is it that got her interested in this hobby? “I first saw a picture of aerial hooping in 2010 and gave it a go, around a year back. I sought out online tutorials and got a hoop made to hang in my basement. I still have a long, long way to go though.”

Chauhan, however is taking it slow. “I haven’t hung the hoop very high, so no major disasters yet. But I have minor bruises and calluses on my hands. I practice whenever I can,” she shares.
