Time, not sympathy
In an interview with ANI, Yadav reflected on life’s constant cycle of beginnings and lessons. He said that while he has always received sympathy from people, what he truly needs now is time. According to him, time has the power to make firm and decisive judgments, and he believes it will eventually bring the truth to light. The actor also turned emotional while speaking about his career milestone. He shared that 2027 will mark 30 years of his journey in Indian cinema. Born in Kudra in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and having built his professional life in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Yadav said he is grateful for the love he has received throughout his career. He acknowledged the support of audiences and well-wishers across the country, expressing heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has stood by him in different phases of his life.
In a separate interaction with PTI, Yadav thanked the film fraternity and viewers for their continued support following his release. Speaking to PTI Video from his ancestral village in Shahjahanpur district, he said the love he received during this period was overwhelming.
Prison reforms
During the same conversation, Yadav also raised an unusual but pointed suggestion for prison authorities. He urged them to consider creating designated smoking areas inside jail premises, similar to facilities available at railway stations and airports. At the same time, he stressed that prisons should function as reform centres where inmates are given structured opportunities to change their lives. However, he maintained that the law must remain supreme, especially for those unwilling to reform. He also pointed out how difficult it can be to judge inmates from the outside, saying it is not always clear who is a hardened criminal and who may have made a one-time mistake. Addressing legal matters, Yadav clarified that his advocate Bhaskar Upadhyay will respond officially to all questions related to the case. He added that due to a family wedding, he would not be speaking to the media for the next two days and plans to address queries through a press conference at a later date.
