It’s not every day you hear about secret airport pickups, especially involving two Bollywood stars. But an old video clip has resurfaced and has left fans nostalgic and amused. Turns out, John Abraham used to pick up actress Raveena Tandon from the airport on his bike, yes, helmet ready and all, and no, we’re not talking about Bipasha Basu here. For the unversed, Bipasha and John were in a relationship, which lasted around nine years from 2003 to 2011.

The throwback moment came from an old episode of Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, hosted by the late Farooq Sheikh. The show, which originally aired in the early 2000s, featured Raveena as a guest. One of the surprise entries was none other than John Abraham, who at the time was still establishing himself in the industry. Despite the difference in their career stages, the two shared a warm, easy friendship that stood out.

John fondly recalled their first meeting at the disco, revealing how Raveena once pulled him to the dance floor at a party. “She looked at me and said, ‘I want to dance, come here, take me on the floor.’ That’s how we met,” he shared. From that moment, a genuine bond began to grow.


What really caught fans' attention was John describing Raveena as a "tomboy" and "another boyfriend." He explained, “She’s just one of the boys, and I love that about her.” The conversation took a charming turn when he revealed that he used to go to the airport to pick her up on his bike. “She’d wear a helmet and sit behind me,” he smiled. When asked how she looked in the helmet, he replied with one word: “Pyaari.”

Raveena also shared her version of the story. She said she first went up to John to talk to him on behalf of a friend who had a crush on him. What impressed Raveena the most was John's honesty and warmth.
