Not Aishwarya Rai or Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan reveals he had ‘longest-running affair’ with another star: ‘I was so heartbroken…’

Salman Khan has finally broken his silence on being the perpetual eligible bachelor of Bollywood and revealed whether he would ever become a family man. The superstar made an appearance at the iconic chat show Koffee With Karan, hosted by director Karan Johar. Also present was his former heroine, Karisma Kapoor.

Salman On His Longest Affair

When KJo said that the ‘Raja Hindustani’ star claimed that their relationship was platonic, the superstar quipped that he had the longest affair with her. “She is lying. The longest-running affair. She left me and got married. I was so heartbroken (laughs).” Kapoor sassed right back, “What is he saying?!”

Lesson From His Father

Khan shared one unforgettable lesson from his father, screenplay writer Salim Khan: never to expose his personal life to public speculation. “Ever since I was 15 or 16... this is something I learned from my father (veteran screenwriter Salim Khan)... I never wanted to talk about my personal life in public. The bedroom is the bedroom, while the living room is the entire country. What should stay in the bedroom shouldn’t reach the living room..’ he said.


Khan also addressed his bachelor status, revealed no one prevented him from marrying, he did not marry out of his own choice. “Nobody stopped me from getting married; I stopped myself. I can’t blame anyone because it was my decision, and I am happy with it. But yes, kids will come into the picture one day. I do want to have children at some point. That’s the most amazing thing."
