North West, 13, reveals her facial piercings are fake: ‘I change them so much that you guys think it’s real’

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter North West has finally opened up about her facial piercings. Back in June, the 13-year-old made headlines for sporting blue hair and piercings at Vetements' Paris Fashion Week. She was seen with a bridge piercing, finger piercings, and studs on her cheeks alongside 2 new angel bite piercings on her top lip. Now, North has clarified that those piercings are fake and she keeps on changing them so that it feels real.

According to a report by People magazine, North West appeared on a TikTok livestream with Kim Kardashian on October 15, where she clarified her piercings. The clip captured the starkid having 4 facial piercings: 2 on the bridge of her nose and 2 on her upper cheek.

Facing the camera, North West revealed that her piercings were not real and that she changes them to give a more realistic appearance. That’s when Kim chimed in, wondering how people can assume that they are real.

When Kim asked North which was her favourite piercing, North shared that she loves her bridge piercing and wants to get a real one. But the teen admitted that she is not allowed a real piercing. Additionally, North confessed that a bridge piercing can be scarring, so she might get one when older.

When North continued that she also wants her nose pierced, Kim joked that she can glue it ‘for now’. Further in the livestream, North spoke about the criticism surrounding her fashion picks, which have also been under scrutiny.

Addressing the remarks of people calling her ‘demonic’, North requested viewers to stop calling her ‘demonic’ just because she chooses to dress a particular way. ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover,’ she said. Besides North, Kim and Kanye also share sons Saint, 10 and Psalm, 7, and daughter Chicago, 8.
