Nord CE 2 5G: OnePlus to launch its budget smartphone on February 17, teases design in new video

Tech giant OnePlus on Thursday confirmed the launch of Nord CE 2 5G which will hit the markets in India on February 17. In a video posted on Twitter, the tech company also teased Nord CE 2 5G's sleek and smart design.
Going by the glimpses shared by OnePlus, the smartphone will sport a triple camera set-up and flaunt a sleek, thin body.
Nord CE 2 5G will have its volume buttons on the left side, while power button situated on the right side of the phone. It will most likely flaunt a punch-hole design, like most Android phones.
OnePlus, which earlier used to launch one phone a year, has changed its game recently as the tech market became more competitive.
The tech giant, owned by BBK Electronics which also markets smartphones under brands such as Oppo, Vivo, Realme and iQOO, is working on several smartphones simultaneously which it plans to launch this year in separate price segments.

Nord CE 2 5G will be the tech brand's budget smartphone of 2022 as it will most likely be priced under Rs 30,000.
It could launch in 6GB and 8GB RAM to give users a fast, powerful smartphone experience. For space, OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is likely to offer 128GB of internal storage which could also be expended through microSD card.
In previous reports, it was tipped that Nord CE 2 5G will feature a 64-MP sensor along with an 8-megapixel secondary camera, a 2MP tertiary camera and for selfies, a 16MP camera in the front.
The budget smartphone will also boast a large screen with a 6.4-inch full HD+AMOLED display along with a 90Hz refresh rate. According to reports, Nord CE 2 5G may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC.
