Bollywood actor and performer Nora Fatehi was involved in a car accident in Mumbai on Friday (December 19) afternoon, triggering concern among her fans and followers. The incident took place around 4 pm when the actor was travelling to the Sunburn Festival, where she was scheduled to make an appearance later in the evening. While the news initially caused alarm, officials have since confirmed that Nora is safe and out of danger.

According to information shared by Mumbai Police, a drunk driver crashed his vehicle into the car Nora was travelling in. Soon after the accident, she was taken to a nearby hospital as a precautionary measure. Police officials said she received first aid and medical attention, following which her condition was found to be stable. ANI also reported that the actress is safe, easing concerns surrounding her health.



In a statement, Mumbai Police said Nora was immediately shifted to the hospital after the collision. Officials confirmed that a case has been registered against the intoxicated driver under sections related to rash driving and driving under the influence. The accused was taken into custody, and further investigation into the incident is underway.

While early reports described the accident as minor, according to a TOI report, Nora was on her way to the Sunburn Festival for her scheduled appearance alongside American DJ David Guetta when the crash occurred. The source added that her team rushed her for a thorough medical evaluation to rule out any serious injuries.

The same report stated that the doctors conducted a CT scan to ensure there was no internal bleeding or haemorrhagic injury caused by the impact. While initial assessments suggested there were no major injuries, the source claimed that Nora did suffer a slight concussion due to the collision. However, after medical checks and observation, she was discharged from the hospital.

What won fans' hearts is that, after the incident was Nora’s decision to continue with her professional commitments. Despite being advised to rest following the concussion, the actor reportedly chose to go ahead with her scheduled appearance at Sunburn 2025. She later attended the music festival in South Mumbai, where she was expected to share the stage with David Guetta. Sunburn, traditionally held in Goa, is being organised in Mumbai this year and concludes on December 21.
