Noah Wyle made handmade gifts for his girlfriend: The Pitt actor’s romantic side that fans rarely get to see

You must be living under a rock if you don’t know about Noah Wyle’s latest milestone. The actor, best known for playing the role of Dr. Michael ‘Robby’ Robinavitch, an attending physician in the popular medical drama The Pitt, has been crowned PEOPLE magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2026. But apart from his charisma, there’s another side to Noah that many are not aware of. The 55-year-old is a true-blue romantic who is unabashed in showering his partner with love and thoughtful presents.

For the unversed, Noah is married to actress Sara Wyle. The couple met each other in 2010 and got married 4 years later in 2014. The two are proud parents to daughter Frances, 11, whom they welcomed in 2015. Noah also shared 2 kids — son Owen, 24, and daughter Auden, 21, with his ex-wife Tracy Warbin.

Noah made handmade gifts for wife during courtship

Noah, in a conversation with People magazine, recalled his early days of courtship with Sara. The Emmy-winning star admitted that since he already had 2 kids from his previous marriage, he wasn’t always able to spend time with her. ‘For almost a year I did not introduce everybody,’ he said. However, the actor made sure that Sara always felt special.


Noah revealed that he would make handmade gifts for Sara to make up for the time he could not spend with her. He created a scrapbook with photographs and mementoes of their dates, fun activities they participated in, and drawings. He even wrote poems for her. ‘Just ways of being able to do something for her when we were apart that I thought she would like when we saw each other again,’ said Noah.

Noah Wyle’s wife convinced him to accept the honour

In the same conversation, Noah disclosed that when he first heard about being bestowed with the Sexiest Man Alive title, he thought it was a ‘prank’. But it was Sara who convinced him to accept the honour. ‘Just not in a million years did I think that this would be an honor bestowed on me,’ admitted The Pitt actor.

Heaping praise on his wife, Noah said that Sara believed he was a good man, a good husband and a good father. ‘She thinks I am… that kind of person that is worth promoting,’ said Noah, adding that upon her insistence he accepted the title.
