No office, no team, no money — but he did not want 9-to-5 job life. 4 years later, he has 3 offices

It didn’t begin in a boardroom, with suits and startup decks. It began with one coffee shared between four friends in a café, not out of love for lattes, but because they had no money, no team, and no space to work from. All they needed was Wi-Fi, a plug point, and air conditioning. That’s where it started.

A Mumbai-based techie recently opened up about this journey on LinkedIn, offering an honest glimpse into what it means to build something from absolutely nothing and alone. Four years ago, he had no savings, no investors, and no office — just a second-hand laptop, his camera, and a few people who believed in him when he had little to offer in return. He would shoot, edit, pitch, send emails, manage payments, and get back to shooting the next morning. Some months, he couldn’t even pay himself. Other months, he just barely made it through. But he kept going.

Instead of giving up, he persevered. With time, things began to change. Clients started to come in. Then retainers. A small office followed, then a second. And now, four years later, the company has three offices, with one in Bengaluru and has crossed $3 million in revenue.


Recently, he brought on two new co-founders to scale the company further, expanding to a new city, landing a massive global tech client as their first.

The founder ended his post on a powerful note, addressing those who might still be in their early struggles. He shared that it’s easy to talk about numbers and wins, but it's difficult to talk about the part where one is left quietly wondering if they're just wasting time.
