No hamper, no coffee! KJo confirms 'Koffee With Karan' not returning for new season
The show which saw the who's who of Bollywood spill the beans had six seasons so far.

The 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' maker recently took to Twitter to make the important announcement and said that with a heavy heart, he is bidding farewell to the show which had been a part of his life and that of the Indian television viewers for past six seasons. This announcement comes a week after there were reports in the media that claimed that a season seven of the show is underway.
In the Twitter announcement, Johar denied the claim and wrote, "Koffee with Karan' has been a part of my life, and yours, for 6 seasons now. I'd like to think we've made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that 'Koffee with Karan' will not be returning..."

One of the early sensational statement that contributed to this show's popularity came from Deepika Padukone, who slammed her then ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor on the show and said that he should endorse a condom brand hinting at his unfaithful behaviour, and continued with many big stars taking pot shots at their collogues. Sonam Kapoor accused half of the film clan of using Botox to enhance their looks, Emraan Hashi called Aishwarya Rai Bachchan 'plastic', a bout of cold war between Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra ensued in the early years and was followed by their later years' friendly appearance together. It was also the show in which Salman Khan declared that he is a virgin.
