Diamantaire Nirav Modi's opulent lifestyle, from his Rs 9 lakh ostrich leather jacket to an untitled 1973 VS Gaitonde worth crores, has been making headlines for a long time now. The infamous former resident of South Mumbai's Samudra Mahal tower, who is currently behind bars in London, fled after being accused in a Rs 13,570-crore fraud involving the Punjab National Bank.
However, he left behind a garage full of 11 luxurious cars, including a Rs 5 crore Rolls Royce Ghost. All of these, parked in three different locations, went under the hammer at an online auction by the government-owned Metal Scrap Trading Corporation on Thursday. This comes almost a month after 68 paintings from Modi's art collection fetched Rs 54 crore at an auction.
The auction which was conducted by Government-owned Metal Scrap Trading Corporation was able to attract at sum of Rs 3.29 crore. Modi's silver-coloured Rolls Royce, which onnce carried his three dogs around the city, fetched Rs 1.33 crore. Here's a round up of how much Modi's most-expensive cars fetched as highest bid:

Besides these, Modi also owned a Honda Brio, Toyota Innova, Honda CRV, Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Superb Elegance and Toyota Corolla Altis.
