“Well, maybe she oughta get outside and get offline a little more,” Hochul, 68, said, before adding what's poisoning her mind. “And stop going to Trump rallies; it’s kinda poisoning your mind.”
Hochul was campaigning for the mid-term at the Polish American Citizens Club in Albany, as per HuffPost, when one reporter asked, “I wanted to ask you about a tweet that was just posted by Nicki Minaj.”
Minaj, 43, a long-time Trump supporter, demanding the resignation of the Democratic Governor, wrote on X on Wednesday afternoon, “Kathy Hochul is an evil woman. The Democratic Party should forfeit her seat because even if she wins, she will be of great consequence to them. Downward spiral for her. She will not escape God’s wrath.”
The New York rapper who recently flew with the President on Air Force One added, “She did not denounce evil when she had the chance.”
In another X post, supporting Trump-endorsed gubernatorial opponent Bruce Blakeman, she wrote with a short clip of Hochul of her 2024 comment that there are “Black kids growing up in the Bronx who don’t even know what the word ‘computer’ is,” a comment Hochul apologized for and said she “misspoke,” HuffPost reported at that time.
“HOW DARE YOU AS BLACK PEOPLE VOTE FOR THIS VILE WICKED CURSE OF A WOMAN? HOW DARE YOU AS CHRISTIANS?!” She wrote and urged the people to vote for Blakeman.
Bruce Blakeman also weighed in on his backing of the Bang Bang singer, who wrote on Nicki’s post targeting the governor, “Nicki, I’ve got the U-Haul ready. It’s time to fire the worst governor in America.”
Minaj, who was born Onika Tanya Maraj in Trinidad and Tobago, is the sister of Jelani Maraj, who was found guilty in 2020 of predatory sexual assault against an 11-year-old girl. Her husband, Kenneth Petty, pleaded guilty in 1995 to first-degree attempted rape.
