I think it’s about being a student of the game always. So, even great leaders are always seeking out new learnings and looking to take new risks. “Coach” Bill Campbell who recently passed away is a fantastic example of someone who was an advisor to both Apple and Google.

Even Steve Jobs advised Yahoo, Google etc. In India, we sometimes see the opposite today – someone who has never worked on a startup or built a product offering expert advice to entrepreneurs. The next generation of entrepreneurs in India will look past this – they will seek out sophisticated partners and advisors.
