Newton’s 3rd Law OTT release date: When and where to watch the Sumanth starrer Telugu crime-thriller with multiple language options

Sumanth-led Newton’s 3rd Law is now heading to the digital space after its theatrical release earlier this year. The Telugu crime thriller, which also features Jagapathi Babu in a key role, was released in theatres on July 31 and is now set for its OTT premiere. Directed by Rajesh Karna, the film brings crime, family and karma into the same story, using the idea of action and reaction as part of its central theme.

While the film had an interesting premise and a strong cast, its theatrical run did not make the impact that was expected. The OTT release now gives it another chance to reach a wider audience.

Newton’s 3rd Law OTT release date and where to watch

As per 123Telugu, Newton’s 3rd Law will make its digital debut on ETV Win on August 27, 2026. The film will then be available on Netflix from August 28, 2026, according to the release details provided for the movie.


The Netflix release is also expected to make the film available in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, giving the Sumanth-starrer a wider reach beyond its original Telugu audience.

The OTT arrival comes less than a month after the film's theatrical release. For viewers who did not catch it in cinemas, the digital release will provide an opportunity to watch the thriller from home.

What is Newton’s 3rd Law about?

Written and directed by Rajesh Karna, the film is built around crime, family relationships and karma. Its title refers to Newton’s famous third law of motion, the idea that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The film takes that familiar concept and uses it in the context of its characters and the events that unfold around them.

The story is presented as a thriller where different actions lead to consequences, bringing together the crime and family elements. The film therefore moves beyond being just a crime story and also looks at how choices made by people can affect what happens next.

Sumanth and Jagapathi Babu lead the cast, with Srinivas Avasarala, Trinadh Varma, Ravi Varma, Neha Pathan, Shelly N Kumar, Pandit Goutham, Harini Rao Gaganam, Rupesh Marrapu and Abhinayanaa also appearing in the film.

Rajesh Karna has written and directed Newton’s 3rd Law. The production credits include Mark My Words Entertainments, Celestial Art Studio and VFX Shashwat, while Harish Kohirkar is also credited as producer in the film's production details.

Veda Vyas Gottipati has handled cinematography and Anil Pasala has worked on editing. Sinjith Yerramilli composed the music. The technical team also includes Shivakumar Macha as production designer, Wing Chun Anji as action choreographer, Meghana Sheshavapuri as costume designer and Manicka Prabhu Cs as sound designer.
