News from the stork! HDFC chairman Deepak Parekh can't wait for his second grandchild

There is happy news from the household of HDFC chairman Deepak Parekh. His younger son Siddharth and his wife Claire are expecting their second child. A visibly Claire was spotted at an event in Mumbai last week, in the company of her husband and mother-in-law Smita.

This will be Parekh’s second grandchild. He has experience playing the role of a grandfather to the daughter of his older son, Aditya. Siddharth and Claire got married in 2014 at Jodhpur. A University of Pennsylvania and Columbia Business School alumnus, Siddharth co-founded a private equity firm about a year ago.
