The world's most expensive sandwich is here, and it costs Rs 14,000

A few days ago in Sweden, the world’s most expensive fries — numbering five in all — were priced at Rs 4,000. They were made of Matsutake mushrooms, Truff le Seaweed, Crown Dill, Indian Pale Ale Wort and Ammarnas Potatoes.

The world’s most expensive sandwich came a couple of days later made by New York’s Serendipity 3, which has to be ordered 48 hours prior.

The cheese grilled sandwich costs a shocking Rs 14,000. Named ‘Quintessential Grilled Cheese’, the sandwich features layers of Caciocavallo Podolico in Dom Perignon Champagne bread applied with white truffle butter, edible gold flake and is served with a tomato and lobster bisque. Appetising no doubt, but only if you can stomach paying that much for stuff between slices of bread.
