New Year, new beginnings! Snapdeal boss wants to 'be nice' to everyone; CRED founder's self-analysis mantra

New Year is here! India Inc bosses have great plans for 2023 as they bid farewell to 2022. Here's a look:

Snapdeal co-founder Kunal Bahl shared the 'one enduring lesson of life' with his 283.6K followers.

He said, "one must be nice to everyone, irrespective of who they are, because not only is it the absolute right and decent thing to do, but (in case you need added motivation) you just never know when you need them."



NASSCOM President Debjani Ghosh did a 2022 wrap with special moments from the year.

Calling it an 'amazing year', Ghosh said she expressed gratitude for getting to meet 'Sapiens' author Yuval Noah Harari, fun family holidays, and launching India's first AI Adoption Index.

"So much to be grateful for. Looking forward to making the next 365 days count as much, if not more," she said.


Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal's New Year celebrations were all about getting in touch with the roots.

In another post, he wrote, "Didn’t appreciate the shared history (with Indonesia) enough till I saw for myself ... Realised a lot about our history I wasn’t aware before."


During his week-long Bali vacation with wife Rajalakshmi, the entrepreneur spent time reading author Sanjeev Sanyal's 'The Incredible History of India's Geography'.

"Happy new year! May 2023 be full of dreams, aspirations and success," his another post read.


Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Executive Chairperson of Biocon Limited, wished everyone a 'truly blessed 2023' filled with health, happiness and harmony.

"Let’s rid the world of hatred, human suffering and geopolitical conflicts," she added.


CRED founder Kunal Shah had an insightful suggestion for people who only used the year-end to reflect on their life and choices.

Instead of waiting for the end of the year, the top boss suggested doing a self-analysis every month to get faster self-improvement.

"Year end makes many people reflective and zoom out to look at their life and choices. It may be useful to do this every month and not wait for year-end if one wishes faster iteration in themselves," his post said.


In a long social media post, Anil Agarwal, Chairman of Vedanta Resources Limited, said that he feels optimistic about India's future.

"India is in a sweet spot - we are the fifth largest economy, with the third-largest startup ecosystem, and have more than 84 thousand start-ups operating across 656 districts. Love that whether it’s a simple selfie lesson or start-up, our youth are really showing the world how it’s done," his post read.
