Alfred, an on-demand personal concierge service in New York, allows busy office workers to hire an unseen servant to dispatch a number of tasks using the new app.

Marcela Sapone, who created the company in Boston with Jess Beck in 2013, said that since opening a New York office last year, the company has hired 75 'Alfreds' to work in parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn, ' New York Post' reported.

Alfreds can even anticipate when your milk carton will be empty and replace it without even asking - all while you are at work.

Alfred makes money by clustering at least three brief stops per building and charging for laundry and cleaning.
