New parents Ram Charan, Upasana Kamineni will have a traditional naming ceremony for daughter in Hyderabad

Telugu superstar Ram Charan, who became a global sensation with blockbuster 'RRR' and Oscar-winning song 'Naatu Naatu', and his businesswoman-wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela are busy with the naming ceremony of their baby girl in Hyderabad.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the 33-year-old new mom shared a few glimpses of the preparations. Her caption read, "BTS our darling daughter’s naming ceremony."

The videos showed that the couple opted for a traditional and organic set-up for the lavish event.

The organic decor also featured greenery and a tree-like structure built in the centre of the courtyard. The large space was decorated with fragrant flowers like jasmine (mogra) and tuberose (rajnigandha).

The buffet tables were also visible in the background. Each table (covered using a white silk cloth with gold zari brocade) contained a beautiful and sustainable centrepiece - matching the rest of the decor.

The naming ceremony of the couple's daughter is expected to take place on Friday in Hyderabad. The event and decor have been organised by Dinaz Noria, CEO of Decor By Dinaz.

After the birth of Baby Konidela, megastar Chiranjeevi took to social media to share the cute nickname of his granddaughter.

Announcing the news on Twitter, the veteran actor called the newborn his 'Little Mega Princess.'

The power couple tied the knot on June 14, 2012, after dating for years. They welcomed their first child on June 20, 2023, after 11 years of marriage.

Ram recently received the invitation to join the Oscars panel.

On the work front, he will be seen in director Shankar's upcoming action film 'Game Changer' opposite Bollywood actress Kiara Advani. 'Game Changer' will release in three languages - Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. The film also stars SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Anjali, and Srikanth.

The official release date of the film is still awaited.
