New dealers would be good for the company, says Lamborghini India's Sharad Agarwal
Lamborghini has had a constant presence in the Indian market, thanks to its national sales office, as opposed to Ferrari and Maserati, who’ve had to face dealership issues. These two brands re-entered the market with their new dealers last year.

How will that change the market dynamics in the country?

"It’s good. We want to welcome them," says Sharad Agarwal, India head for Lamborghini. "We want more people to come into this country and start talking about this. We need resources in the market place to expand the market.

The segment is very small in proportion to the HNI in this country. They can buy more than we all can sell," he says. While Agarwal says the presence of more supercar brands is valuable to the market, the format in which they exist, dealership or national sales company, depends on "the commitment of the brand to the country".
