Neha Dhupia receives flak for anti-Modi tweet

On a day when rains brought Mumbai to a standstill, Neha Dhupia tweeted,

One rain n the city comes to a standstill. Good governance is not about selfies n makin us do yoga,it's making sure ur citizens r safe.

However, soon after this tweet, she started receiving a slew of derogatory tweets that were both demeaning and sexist in nature.

Tweetizens started taking potshots at Neha, her choice of films, some even questioning her mental sanity. Soon enough, the actress was trending on Twitter. In the past too, actresses like Shruti Seth and Kavita Krishnan were targeted on social media for tweeting against the Prime Minister.
