Need a power bank? Try a solar powered one
Power banks have become a necessity for modern day smartphone users. Although scores of brands are currently excelling in the power banks department, there’s always room for new and innovative products, as shown by an Indian startup called Elixier Tech.

The company has recently released its solar powered power bank and LED torch/lamp, with a unique feature on board. The battery underneath is only 3,000 mAh, so you can only manage to get so much charge in one go. But considering that it can be charged through sun rays, you can mount it on your window or on your car to let it charge on its own while keeping plenty of battery for your smartphone.

The company’s online store is now selling the ET Stone Kit for Rs 3,999. This package includes the power bank, a USB cable and a car mount to hold the device against a windshield. The back has solar panels while the front of the ET Stone has a set of buttons to set off charging and to toggle the LED lights on the device.
