NCB to submit reply today in Bombay HC against Aryan Khan's bail plea in drugs case, hearing on October 26
Aryan had approached the high court for an urgent bail hearing after a special court in Mumbai denied his request.

The Bombay HC scheduled the bail hearing for October 26, while asking the NCB to file its reply by Monday. The special court in Mumbai on October 20 denied bail to Aryan observing that 'on the face of it', he was indulging in "illicit drug activities on a regular basis".
Aryan, along with others, was arrested on October 3 by the NCB during a raid on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on its way to Goa. The 23-year-old is currently lodged in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail.
Shah Rukh Khan on October 21 met his son in the jail after it started the process of allowing visits by family members of prisoners and undertrial inmates. The jail had stopped family visits due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
This was the first time Aryan met any family member since his arrest in the drugs case. This was also SRK's first public appearance since his son's arrest.
The NCB has arrested as many as 20 people in connection with the drugs case since October 3 cruise ship raid. The anti-drugs agency also summoned Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey, who is being questioned by the NCB in relation with her WhatsApp chat with Aryan Khan where the two are allegedly discussing contraband. So far, Ananya has appeared before the NCB twice and will likely visit the anti-drugs agency office today as well for further questioning.
