Nayanthara takes a dig at The Liver Doc, shares cryptic post on ‘stupid people’

Actress Nayanthara has responded to Cyriac Abby Philips aka The Liver Doc’s scathing barbs. For those unversed, Philips recently made a post on X, calling out the ‘Jawan’ actress for promoting hibiscus tea. In the vitriolic tweet, the doctor accused the actress of spreading misinformation and contested her claims of hibiscus tea being a natural antidote to high blood pressure and diabetes.

Later, she posted a Mark Twain quote without directly addressing anyone: "Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."


In response, the doctor shared a screenshot of the now-deleted post, commenting, "Post deleted. But no apology. No accountability. This is akin to a surgical strike on public health. We need laws to curb such behavior from celebrities and empower registered medical practitioners (non-Ayush) to provide evidence-based scientific education for better public health choices."

Previously, Dr. Philips had debunked Samantha Ruth Prabhu's claim that hydrogen peroxide nebulization could cure colds and flu.
