Navin Ansal loves his pink and blue suits, says colours need to be carried with élan
Ansal wears things he values not because somebody else would like it.

My style:
My style is classic and also a little flamboyant. It has changed with age. I have started wearing stuff that I value, and not because somebody else would like it, but because I like it.
Must haves:
For Indian men, must-haves should include a kurta pyjama, designer juttis, a combination of formals — suits, or jacket and trouser combination, shoes, and sports clothes.
Brand speak:
My favourite suits are from Tom Ford and Giorgio Armani and bandhgalas from Canali. I bought my first branded item in the 70s or 80s — it was probably Gucci.
Men should have a good watch, rings, and pocket squares.
Style speak:
The best style advice was given to me, not by words, but by setting an example. It was by my father and my older brother, because they both had a distinctive style.
Fancy footwork:
I love shoes. I own lots of coloured shoes. Also, shades of pink and blue suits, but you have to learn to carry your style. You cannot own colours and not be confident in them.
