Nasreen Mohamedi has been an inspiration to me: Nita Ambani
Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York will host a retrospective of modern artist Nasreen Mohamedi's works.

Sponsored by the Reliance Foundation, the retrospective only opens to the public on March 18, where you can view Mohamedi's delicate line drawings. "Nasreen Mohamedi has been an inspiration to me. In a patriarchal culture, she created strong and assertive works," said the foundation's chairperson Nita Ambani, while taking an exclusive tour of the 130-work retrospective. Added bonus: While perusing Mohamedi's art, a music installation by renowned jazz pianist Vijay Iyer will also bring The Met Breuer's lobby gallery alive.
